The Hall of Reparatory Justice (About WRC-Wichita)
LIFT EVERY VOICE AND SING
Welcome to the Wichita Reconciliation Coalition Movement (NOW WRC-Wichita)
A sacred ground where ancestral wisdom meets modern strategies for justice and healing.
Rooted in love, restoration, and truth-telling, WRC Wichita mobilizes hearts and minds—galvanizing community power, organizing for reparations, and cultivating sacred action toward liberation.

Vision
A just, thriving Wichita where communities most impacted by historical and systemic harm in health, education, and human agency are restored, empowered, and fully resourced to heal, lead, and flourish.
Mission
To mobilize, educate, and activate Wichita residents in the pursuit of reparatory justice by addressing the generational impact of racialized harm—particularly in the realms of public health, educational access, and personal and collective agency. We strengthen agency by promoting healing-centered engagement, critical awareness, and equitable access to tools that restore self-determination. Our work is rooted in community wisdom, cross-sector collaboration, and transformative action that uplifts both the individual and the collective.
Purpose

WRC–Wichita exists to:

▪︎ Create safe spaces for healing-centered education and dialogue
▪︎ Equip residents with tools to advocate for transformative reparations-based solutions
▪︎ Connect local struggles to national and global reparatory frameworks
▪︎ Uplift community voices, wisdom, and leadership in shaping systems of repair and equity

…served, sacrificed, worked tirelessly, taught, healed, governed, kept faith and hope alive, advocated, marched, took risks, stayed in the press, kept hand to the plow, stood for righteousness…sometimes alone, unified rather than divided, role model for young and old, chose to build bridges, role model and mentor for youth, visionaries, no respecter of person………..
